Yes. Your Murphy bed attaches to any wall studs/concrete/block wall with three brackets. Our system does not require floor mounting, which will damage your floor.
Side/Horizontal Tilt, and Vertical refers to the orientation of the bed when opened.
With a Side/Horizontal Tilt Murphy Bed whomever is in the bed will be parallel to the wall the Murphy Bed is mounted to while with the Vertical Murphy Bed one would sleep with their head toward the wall the Murphy Bed is mounted to.
Yes – A detachable Velcro strap system plus connecting leg bar both hold your bedding and mattress in place when your Murphy Bed is in the vertical or upright position so that when you open your Murphy Bed it is ready to use immediately.
Lifting or lower will be quite easy – The spring assisted tilt mechanisms are balanced for the size and weight of the door panels as well as the mattress to ensure easy opening and closing.
Our mechanisms are counter balanced to prevent your bed from unexpectedly falling. In most instances the door panel of the Murphy Bed may be raised or lowered with minimal effort.
